Enlace Judío México e Israel- Este lunes, los residentes de Meah Shearim recibieron donativos por un total de casi un millón de shekels en efectivo. Un individuo, que dijo ser un judío de México, llegó al barrio y comenzó a entregar sobres llenos de dinero, algunos con euros, otros con Shekels y otros más con dólares.

Una persona que recibió un sobre le dijo al filántropo anónimo que viniera a “Batei Ungarim”, un lugar donde vería cuán pobre es la comunidad y cómo puede dar el dinero directamente a las familias.

En entrevista para la televisión israelí, la persona que grabó el video dijo que el hombre buscaba al rabino Rabinovich y que entregó un sobre con dinero en su casa. También repartió otros sobres, en especial a adultos mayores.

Según el locutor, el donador se llama Mauricio Atari y brindó dinero para la remodelación de una Mikve cerca del Muro de los Lamentos.
